Our Facilities: Main Campus; South Jordan, UT Located centrally between Utah and Salt Lake counties, our beautiful 13,000 square foot South Jordan campus boasts over 40 treatment areas, nine laser technologies, two large practical rooms, four lecture halls, professional consultation rooms, computerized skin analysis equipment, an incredible spa room with full massage pedicure stations, a student break room, and student lounge, access to student computers, an extensive resource library and a beautiful medical day spa staffed by our students. Satellite Campus; Las Vegas, NV Opening spring 2014, the Las Vegas campus will continue to draw students from all across the nation. Located directly on Las Vegas Boulevard, just minutes from the McCarran airport and just 2 blocks from the south end of The Strip, our facility sits right in the heart of the prestigious Towne Square shopping center. With movie theatres, casual and fine dining, high-end shopping and all sorts of other necessities, this location is ideal for students who want to combine their education with the excitement of a trip to Las Vegas. The campus will offer post-graduate education including laser, injections and advanced aesthetics. Courses are currently being taught on a regular basis at the Mandalay Bay convention center. Our Programs: 1200 Hour Master Aesthetics Whether you picture yourself in a resort, spa, salon, med-spa or physicians office, NIMA provides you with the education to fulfill your goals. Our 1200-hour program includes all state required modalities of aesthetics, plus 300 hours of hands-on cosmetic laser training. Our nine laser technologies are in-house and full-time instructors, that have real-world experience in the medical aesthetics industry, teach our courses. We do not rely on industry sales reps and field trips to train our students. After just a few weeks of essential orientation, you will begin providing services to the public in our medical day spa. You will provide all day-spa services as well as laser hair removal, laser skin rejuvenation, vascular therapy, skin lightening, body contouring, and be able to assist our physician with cosmetic injection services on-site. Our curriculum is designed to immerse you in the world of medical aesthetics so that at graduation you are truly prepared and confident. 750 Hour Master Aesthetics For those students that transfer to NIMA with an existing Basic Esthetics license, a Cosmetology license or a license from a state other than UT, we offer the 750 hour Master Aesthetics program. This program is longer than the traditional 600 hour program offered by other schools because we feel it is in the best interest of our students to ensure you adequate time to become experts in all areas of NIMAs curriculum. Our curriculum is more in-depth and offers more hands-on; therefore our transfer or continuing education students are with us a little bit longer. Our focus is on your education, and we know that the time you invest with us will offer exponential returns. Professional Programs NIMA offers over 16 post-graduate programs for licensed aestheticians and medical professionals. NIMA students are in demand from the industries most recognized employers due to the extensive hands-on, real-world experience they receive here. Currently about 80% of our students are placed into the medical aesthetics field. We provide services such as courses in resumes, communication skills and interview skills as well as one on one job placement services to prepare you for the process.
